Dr Marie Grandisson is an occupational therapist and a full professor in the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at Université Laval (Quebec, Canada). Her research focuses on how rehabilitation can contribute to developing stronger and more inclusive communities in which neurodivergent children and their families can thrive. She is particularly interested in the development and evaluation of interventions in which occupational therapists and other professionals collaborate with school teams. She is the lead researcher of Towards Neuroinclusive Schools, a multi-tiered intervention aimed at building schools’ capacities to facilitate the participation and well-being of neurodivergent children. She is also interested in family-centered practice, particularly in how to build capacity without asking too much from families.  She does participatory action research with youth, families, and other community members. She is a proud graduate of the Family Engagement in Research (FER) course and the FER leadership academy at CanChild.
