Introducing the Measure of Processes of Care

Measure of Processes of Care, Version 2.0 (MPOC 2.0) is a questionnaire designed for parents and caregivers to share and evaluate their experiences with healthcare services for their child. It is a means to assess family-centred behaviours of health care providers.

In 1996 researchers at CanChild developed the original Measure of Processes of Care (MPOC) to measure parents’ experiences with the delivery of health services. In 2025 we developed a new version that reflects the needs and experiences of today’s families.

This video provides an introduction to CanChild's Measure of Processes of Care 2.0 (MPOC 2.0).
