CanChild was pleased to participate in the 17th Annual INRICH Workshop, held May 25–26, 2026, at the Ron Joyce Children’s Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. Bringing together more than 40 researchers, students, clinicians, and partners from seven countries—including Australia, Hong Kong, Chile, several European countries, and Canada—the workshop focused on identifying solutions to reduce developmental inequalities and improve child health outcomes worldwide!
CanChild researchers and partners contributed to several sessions, including CanChild’s co-director, Olaf Kraus de Camargo, who was a local host for the workshop. Andrea Cross presented on “From Research to Policy and Practice” opening plenary. Vanessa Tomas and Melanie Sheldon (Rehabilitation Centre for Children, Manitoba), as well as Kinga Pozniak and Danijela Grahovac presented on “Local perspectives on developmental inequalities in children and young people: Centering on the voices of those most impacted” panel.
Thank you to everyone who helped make these two days so inspiring and impactful!
