Biography
Lívia C. Magalhães, PhD, OTR, is a full professor of occupational therapy at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil, where she is involved with the graduate programs in Rehabilitation Sciences and Occupational Studies. Her research interests are in motor coordination problems in children, especially developmental coordination disorder, and in the development and validation of assessment tools to improve early identification of developmental delay and motor coordination problems.
