Biography

Kinga Pozniak is a sociocultural anthropologist with a Ph.D. from Western University. Her overarching research interest is the experiences of parents who have children with neurodevelopmental conditions. At present, her work focuses on: i) parents’ experiences with healthcare services for their children and families; ii) the experiences of children/youth with disabilities and their parents during the COVID pandemic; iii) patient/family engagement in research. Kinga is a co-investigator on the MPOC 2.0, ENVISAGE and COVID Time Capsule studies. She also contributes to the Family Engagement in Research training program and helps to coordinate Luke’s Legacy Family Research Rounds.
