Biography
Patrick McPhee completed his PhD in 2018 in Rehabilitation Science under the supervision of Dr. Jan Willem Gorter. Patrick’s doctoral research examined the relationships between physical activity levels and cardiovascular health in adolescents and adults with cerebral palsy (CP). Currently, Patrick is completing a fellowship in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University where he is investigating the validity and reliability of measuring carotid artery intima-media thickness and physical activity in toddlers and children with CP. Patrick is supervised by CanChild scientist Dr. Brian Timmons.
