Biography
Niina is a therapist clinician academic with research interests in (i) improving health and participation outcomes in children; (ii) advancing the content and delivery of related NHS interventions; and (iii) research methods for developing, modelling, evaluating and implementing multifaceted health interventions. Niina aims to lead high quality research that is of direct, national and international relevance to health care practice and policy, and in her clinical role within the healthcare system she leads and supports implementation of the resulting research evidence in practice. With training in occupational therapy, health services research, behaviour change, and implementation science, Niina integrates a wide range of perspectives to her research and collaborates with colleagues across disciplines.
